CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Goettel at 5:00 p.m.

CONSIDERATION OF PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF
RICHFIELD, PORTLAND HOLDINGS, LLC AND VELOCITY TIRE, INC.
FOR ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AT 6544 PORTLAND AVENUE AS
PART OF 66TH STREET AND PORTLAND AVENUE INTERSECTION
PROJECT S.R. NO. 141
Mayor Goettel presented Staff Report No. 141
M/Goettel, S/Rosenberg to authorize the Mayor and City Manaaer to execute the proposed
Purchase Aareement between the City of Richfield. Portland Holdina. LLC, and Velocity Tire. Inc.
for the acquisition of the property located at 6544 Portland Avenue.
Motion carried 5-0.

City Attorney LeFevre stated the reason for a closed executive session is to discuss airport
litigation.
The City Council went to Closed Executive Session in the Executive Conference Room.
CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Closed Executive Session was called to order by Mayor Goettel in the Executive
Conference Room at 5:07 p.m.
Members Present:
Mayor Goettel; Sue Sandahl; Fred Wroge; Bill Kilian; and Susan
Rosenberg.
Staff Present:
Steve Devich, City Manager; Pam Dmytrenko, Assistant to City Manager;
Nancy Gibbs, City Clerk; and John LeFevre, City Attorney.
The Closed Executive Session was convened pursuant to M.S. 130.05.
The Closed Executive Session adjourned at 5:47 p.m.

CHAMBERS
Mayor Goettel directed staff to keep the City Council informed.
M/Goettel, S/Rosenberg to adiourn the Special City Council Meeting at 5:50 p.m.
