May 14, 2002
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 5:30 p.m.

Martin Kirsch, Mayor; Gertrude Ulrich; John Enger; and Sue Sandahl.

Susan Rosenberg.
Staff Present:
Samantha Orduno, City Manager; Mike Eastling, Public Works Director; Mark
Hall, Streets Supervisor; Trent Jutting, Public Works Worker; and Randy
Hughes, Operations Superintendent.
Item # I
Public Works staff led a bus tour of City streets to discuss street maintenance. The west side
of Richfield was toured because that area is to be seal coated this summer. Some streets are
approaching the need for major repair. When this maintenance is necessary, the cost will be more
than what is provided in the Operating Budget, resulting in the likelihood of assessments. Public
Works will discuss with the Council in the near future, funding options for major street repairs.
The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 6:20 p.m.
