AMENDMENT TO SECTION 310.31
OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE
CITY OF RICHFIELD
THE CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN:
Subsection 310.31, Subd. 1 of the ordinance code of the City of Richfield entitled
"Holidays" is hereby amended:
310.31. Holidays. Subdivision 1. Granted. Eligible full-time employees will be granted
eight hours of paid holiday leave for each of the following holidays observed by the city:
New Year's Day on January 1; Martin Luther King's birthday on the third Monday of January;
Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays on the third Monday in February; Memorial Day on the
last Monday in May; Independence Day on July 4; Labor Day on the first Monday in
September; Veteran's Day on November 11; Thanksgiving Day on the fourth Thursday of
November; the Friday after Thanksgiving; Christmas Day; ~ holid~y, tho d~to of 'Nhich Sh311

each of which the city manaqer annually may desiqnate as a specified date or as a floatinq

Section 2. This ordinance is effective in accordance with Section 3.09 of the
Richfield City Charter.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 11th day of
February 2003.
