06-1005r HRA RESOLUTION NO.1 005 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7201 NICOLLET AVENUE UNDER THE NEW HOME PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Richfield, Minnesota ("the HRA") desires to purchase certain real property pursuant to and in furtherance of the New Home Program, said property being described as: 7201 Nicollet Avenue Lots 11 and 12, Block 3, Wooddale 2nd Addition, Hennepin County WHEREAS, the HRA is authorized by Minnesota Statutes Section 469.012 to acquire real property within its area of operations; and WHEREAS, a purchase price has been negotiated based on independent appraisal; and WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant and local HRA funds are available for acquisition purposes. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Richfield, Minnesota as follows 1. The purchase price for the property at 7201 Nicollet is approved at $182,000 with $82,000 being funded by Community Development Block Grant funds and $100,000 being funded by the Housing Fund. 2. The Chairperson and Executive Director are authorized to execute purchase agreements and to take other actions necessary to purchase the property for the amount set forth in this Resolution.
