04-9512r RESOLUTION NO. 9512 112 RESOLUTION APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF BILL NO. 2004-8 WHEREAS, the City has adopted the above referenced amendment to the Richfield City Code; and WHEREAS, the verbatim text of the amendment is cumbersome, and the expense of publication of the complete text is not justified. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield that the following summary is hereby approved for official publication: SUMMARY PUBLICATION BILL NO. 2004-8 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CITY GOVERNMENT; REPEALING SECTIONS 1200,1210,1215, AND 1225 OF THE RICHFIELD CITY CODE IN THEIR ENTIRETY, AMENDING CURRENT SECTIONS AND ADOPTING NEW SECTIONS RELATING TO THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES On September 16, 2004, the Richfield City Council adopted an ordinance designated as Bill No. 2004-8, the title of which is stated above. This summary of the ordinance is published pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Richfield City Charter. This ordinance merges four current sections of the liquor ordinances into one new section, increases the allowable number of on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses to 15, prohibits delivery of alcoholic beverages, and authorizes issuance of temporary intoxicating liquor licenses. Copies of the ordinance are available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk during normal business hours or upon request by calling Betsy Osborn at (612) 861-9881 of the Public Safety Department, Support Services Division. ~ ~TtyClerk BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city clerk be directed to keep a copy of the ordinance in the city clerk's office at city hall for public inspection and to post a full copy of the ordinance in a public place in the City for a period of two weeks.
